Hi! I am Yan Chi Chun. I am a energetic guy with passion of creative design.
Career Goal:
My final career goal is that found a game design company which can be famous in this gaming industry. How I can achieve it? Before 30 years old, I would like to be junior programmer or graphic designer in some indie game company. Although salary of some indie game company is not so much, I know there are a lot of creative talent which I can learn so much form them. Before 40 years old, I want to be not only senior programmer or graphic designer, but management in some famous companies, such as Sony, Xbox.
Reflective lifelong learner:
As a Head Prefect in secondary school, I had to face some urgent situation, e.g. fight, someone getting hurt. If I face fight, I order other prefect call the discipline firstly, then I will try to separate people who are join the fight in order to wait the teacher’s coming. Therefore, I have a lot of experience for the urgent situation in the workplace.
Because of this role multiple opportunities were offered to me in order to train myself. For example, in a leadership camp, teammates and I were required to cooperate to overcome numerous challenges by demonstrating effective communicating skills, remarkable resilience and great confidence. In the process of the camp, this is clear to me that I am a “supportive leader”. These leadership qualities developed during the camp enables me to collaborate with the others in design crew within the company.
Self-directed lifelong learner:
Since my childhood, I’m fascinated with precious details in everyday life. Therefore, I would like to be a photographer in leisure time. In order to achieve that, I would join a photographing club right after graduating the high diploma course.
